How to book your accommodation?
You can book your accommodation through any travel agency. However, RoboCup 2014 official travel agency (Luck Viagens) is a third party company with 50 years experience in touristic assistance in Brazilian northeast region. They can help you to select and book flights and accommodation to take part in RoboCup. They can answer you in Portuguese, English or Spanish, and they are expected to reply your enquiries in up to 48 hours. IMPORTANT: If you book rooms through our official agency, your credentials will be available in the hotel as you arrive.
IMPORTANT: For late booking (after June 10th), if you do not find the desired hotel on the online booking system, you can write to luckeventos@luckviagens.com.br with your request.
Accommodation information
João Pessoa has many accommodations in several price categories. Most of them are located in Cabo Branco, Tambaú and Manaíra beaches. The main avenue that links these beaches (seaside) has a direct access to the Convention Center and it is a low-traffic area. Bellow you can find a list of affiliated hotels. The RoboCup 2014 organization will provide frequent shuttle buses from the hotels with RoboCup bus stop, as indicated in the map, to the venue (details in our shuttle page). Please, make sure you pick a hotel close to the a bus stop. We do not recommend staying in the city center since traffic is very heavy from this area to the venue. Selected area is also covered by the special Tourist Police of João Pessoa, that can assist tourists in english, if necessary.
